Hi Tony, I am currently doing field work in the Burren and would be interested. However I am still quite a beginner at climbing If you don't mind that let me know. Cheers, Aislinn

After being up till 6am doing assignments, I should be ok to go I'd say. See what happens, has there been any other interest?

i just got confirmation that we can get the sprinter and by the sound's of it we have a full van. i'l be heading about 9 depending on everyone else's availability. Re. Ash there should be no trouble. If people hadn't taken the time to show me i wouldn't have learned. Make sure you take out a comfortable pair of shoes and a harness tonight or wednesday. woodsy can we get the gear out wednesday night or tonight? If you can give me a txt or reply here my number is 085 1439807

I am based in the Burren in the UCG research centre at present, and have my own car so I don't need a seat in the bus but I won't be back in UL to get harness and shoes. Could you bring with ye shoes asize 9's and harness that would fit a size 12 if possible? If not could you let me know and I will ask one of the girls to arrange something for me. Apologies about this but I do long days collecting data and I don't get time to go back to UL till it rains ! If you could let me know where to meet ye too? My mobile is 087 9743555 or email me at aislinn.deenihan@ul.ie
Go raibh mile !!!!!!!!!!!

bad news I may be going back to UL sooner than I planned. I was just onto met eireann there and the weather is bad for the west on thursday, rain and winds which I am assuming is not climbing conductive either. Hopefully it will change and the sunshine will stay!!! Long term is predicting a high pressure to come across ireland on sunday so sunshine from next sunday onwards for a few days again!
