Back to the Alps topic, what are you guys planning for accommodation, rent an apartment or stay in one of the camp sites? if its camp site then which one and if its an apartment then where abouts are you thinking of renting cham, argentiere or further up the valley or down for that matter. Just wondering, if myself and frank are gona be out the same time then we might try and stay somewhere not too far from you guys.
I have priced studios and apartments for around 420euro for three weeks sleeps two and a few more with a push.

Darragh K and Gahan have more info on it, but as far as I am aware I think they are looking at renting a Chalet of sorts, as to where though I am unsure.

The last I heard was tents but I would just wait until Gahan has something booked cos there's a good few options been thrown about

Currently the main idea is a campsite, as it is the most convenient. However, as woodsy said there are lots of ideas being thrown about and there is nothing set in stone as of yet. However, a final decision will be made in the not too distant future.

Well lads,
Fairly sure that we are going to with a campsite in chamonix, probably good awl jean luc or that one closer to the galliands(can't spell it) crag. Yeah twud be a bit of craic. Can use the awl bus system over there if heading up argentiere way. Will let you know for definate. We might get a bit lazy if staying in an awl apartment. Also if the weather loks bad for a week we can up and move to sunnier climates, a drastic measure, but at least its an option for us especially since its chamonix.....
I expect big things out of ye two now harr...

www.greatlimerickrun.com/faq.htmlThis is a new event as far as I know. Would be a good goal to set in terms of fitness for anyone looking to get in shape for the alps, plus you get a free t-shirt which you can wear around the place with a big swelled head. I'm planning on entering the 10k run, mainly for financial reasons.(It's the cheapest)

So I see my name and epic in the same sentence .... as if I went out looking for them .... And overall it wasn't that bad of a night (after a few years is never seems that bad) ...... cold yes and then a little colder after I tipped the pot over the edge. Just think though Harr.... a night like that in the summer would be cosy warm! Ya Conor, will be in Chamonix after the wedding from the 12th of July to the 8th of August... and ya, hopefully a few of the big ones will get ticked ...... Alpine season has started here and a couple of nice 20 hours days done over the last few weeks ..... Frank
