Lads and ladies,
There are two class vids on on the patagonia website where Steve House (classed to be fairly well the best alpinist in the world) talks about the gear that they used to climb the House- Anderson route on the Rupal face of Nanga Parbat (one of the 8,000m peaks).
Just look how small the tent and sleeping bag are and how little they carried with respect to rack!!! Ultimate lightweight!!!

Also there is a vid of Dean Potter soloing "Heaven" in Yosemite which is 5.12d/5.13a (which is around 8a french grading).

Also Petzl have a new video on a new route in Pakistan on trango towers were one of the team of 3 base jumps off the towers. A brilliant vid to watch!! Vids called Auzura or somthing!

Oh ya has been snowing all week and the ice is gettin fatter here!!! Time to sharpen up the tools!!!!
