Hey lads,
Hope you all enjoyed our first climbing trip of the semester, there’s loads more to come including the Intervarsities in Week 5. But here’s what’s going on this week….
Now this THURSDAY 14th…the OPC will be hitting town!! This is a social evening for ye folks to meet new people, reunite,(aham) get loved up??! Our club’s always been about the comradeship and the craic as well as the serious stuff; a bit of bonding is always needed for the mountains and the cliffhangers!! So please come to JAVA’s at 8pm and meet us for some drinks; our favourite bus driver will come pick us up at 9pm outside the Stables Arch, so BE THERE!!! We’ll be heading straight to the WICKED CHICKEN and on to COSTELLO’S, wonderful places to explore if you haven’t been there already. I’m excited already, hope you can all make it – bring your dancing shoes!!!
There was a typo in last weekend’s mail regarding orienteering. The ORIENTEERING IV’s are being held in Dublin on the weekend of WEEK 4, February 22nd-24th. All details are attached to this mail. Sharon Lucey needs names by tomorrow, Tuesday, so could you please mail her at Sharon@ulopc.com.
This weekend, Scotland training will take place so there will be no hike. However, in WEEK 4 we will be holding our first OPC weekend of the semester. Location: Unknown. Craic guaranteed. Yes…it’s our MYSTERY WEEKEND! Deposits of 20euro will be taken next Wednesday 20th at 6pm in the Red Raisins Canteen. Places are limited and will be snatched up so get down there next Wednesday to guarantee your place!
Well that’s all lads for this week.
Hope to see ya during the week
Regards
