Howdy,
Just wondering is anyone using these boots and if yes what do you think of them?...

There was a time when everyone in the club had a pair. They are very comfortable, waterproof and hard wearing.
Having said that, I wore through the GoreTex lining on two pairs (warrenty replacement). Maybe they were to wide for my feet, I don't know...
However, they are a little heavy and proably too warm for most of the year in ireland.
If I was looking for boots now, I'd probably buy Scarpa.

Mikes correct nearly everyone had a pair. Very comfortable but for regular walking-'mullocking' over rough ground (real hills say Brandon, the Reeks or the Bens) I didn't find them that robust and alot of people had their side stitching worn down, I wrecked a pair fairly fast usng strap on crampns and that was the last pair I bought, I traded up to Meindl Nepal Pros years ago and currently have a pair of Meindl Himalayas which are giving me great mileage.

I bought a pair of these boots in River Deep before I went to Scotland. They are semi rigid and designed for use with walking crampons. I personally found them great. I broke them in on the journey while driving over only taking them off for about 3 hrs. I found them comfortable with no blisters or sore toes... I wore them every day I was on the hills climbing and most days I was not out too. Not a single blister and my feet kept bone dry to boot…I did not find them overly heavy either… all in all I am delighted with them and think they were worth the money... ;D ill let you know if they wear out ultra quick..
