Its been that busy around here I'm only getting around to sending this email now!
This is a week long party for the OPC and all its members so come along to as much as much as you can!!
Film Festival Wednesday and Thursday Week 4 18th and 19th Feb
Admission: Free
On Wednesday 8.00 pm: We're showing "Underdeveloped", the best Irish Rockclimbing movie ever made. This is gonna be shown in KBG 12. Thats the Kemmy Business School beside the Schuman. If anyone has any questions about getting there feel free to email me.
On Thursday 8.00pm: "Hard Grit" is a showcase of Climbers at the top of their game the film includes "some of the most terrifying climbing scenes ever captured". One thing I can guarantee you this is nothing like Cliffhanger!! We will be showing this movie in the Jonathan Swifth Lecture Theatre which is located beside the Red Raisins Canteen. Any one that needs directions drop me an email.
To celebrate the start of this OPC festival, we are having a night out in the Lodge on Wedensday (Today). Tickets can be bought directly from the Club and all money raised goes to the Intervarsities.
Steve Mc Clure Friday 8pm Scholar's Bar

When I write something big in the email it generally means its important. This time is no different. He is regarded as one of Britain's Best Sport Climber's. If you do me a favour and click on this link to a You Tube video of his climbing you'll understand what I mean: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mh_4lUAx2MM&feature=related So after watchin that, here's what you need to know. Scholar's Bar 8pm Friday
After the talk we will be holding a welcoming party for all the colleges that are coming down for the competition itself, we like to party!!

There are teams coming form all around Ireland to take part in this event. Anyone can enter though. It will be huge. You are more than welcome to come down to the wall at any stage to compete in one of the events or even just to be a spectator. There will be a great buzz around the whole area.
