at the first committee meeting before the semester we should try and get drivers sorted selected etc for the different vehicles.... the paper work takes time to sort so it would be great if you can get it together before that and you can have everything together for insurance... driver training etc is also required there are a few bits to note about vehicle bookings drivers etc though ....a key thing is that with the probability of huge demand for all vehicles this coming year we would need to have a list of realistic bookings week one.. some of of the reasons are covered in the following thread from earlier in the summer opc.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=outdoor&action=display&thread=1659

I won't be back in Limerick until the 5th of September, so any meetings held during orientation week I won't be present. That said I would like to share my internet in being on the 4x4 and possibly the sprinter.
The 4x4 primarily for Orienteering trips.

all paper work needs to be sorted and submitted annually according to Paul Lee.
Once this is done your name will be added to the insurance policy for the vehicle....there is a delay in this being processed usually
you then need to organise getting lessons in the Jeep as its automatic and People are expected to get familiar with it.
To clarify one point for everyone which i was told this week had not been made clear enough by the club:
in terms of your insurance cover the best way to thinkl about it is thus.... you have third party cover it covers other peoples losses...if you do damage to any of the vehicles its you the driver /person responsible who will be paying.
