Hey everybody!
Sorry for the delay in this weeks e-mail, but today we had our big recruitment drive and didn't want to be sending out 2 e-mails to everyone this week so waited until today! As you can guess all the important details are below so give them a look and if you have any questions feel free to e-mail.
HERE WE GO!
Club night out (Thursday, 4th Feb)
This is a big one guys. This is the night where you’ll get a chance to catch the people who’ll be leading you around the hills making a fool of themselves. Grab your camera, have a shot of tequila, get your groove on and find your way to the PESS building for 7.30pm. There’ll be a talk given about the various main events that we’ll be doing this year. Some details about the big trips will be given for those of you interested in pushing this climbing lark up a gear.
After the talk we will go to the Scholars for a drink then a free bus has been arranged to bring us to ‘The Old Quarter’ bar in town at 9:00 pm. Where there’ll be drinks promotions, bottles of Miller for 99c followed by slurred speech, and antics. Once we’re tanked up enough we’ll be going to Costello’s or Trinity Rooms for some dancing, twisting and a lot of shouting. For those of you who’ll be experiencing Costello’s for the first time I won’t ruin it for you. But you’re in for an... um... a good time.
Please not that the climbing wall will closed for climbing Tomorrow evening and reopen as usual on Monday.

I know a lot of you are interested in this activity. If you want to find yourself squeezing and squirming through Ireland’s cracks and potholes you’re going to have to talk to Cillian and get your name down nice and early. You can contact him at caving@ulopc.com. You’ll also need a few bits and pieces that you’ll find around the supermarket, click here for the gear list.

A few of us are planning to go on a training Weekend this weekend for the Orienteering Intervarsities which will be coming up. Check out this thread here on the forums for more information.
