A message from your friendly Climbing Officer!! Climbing at the castle is now officially allowed for UL OPC members!! Now that exams are approaching and the climbing wall will be closed due to them(after Tuesday 27th April), the timing is perfect to climb one of Limerick's Medievel castles (Just a 10 minute walk from the climbing wall)!! With glorious weather and the stress of exams, it's the perfect time to take a break and climb outdoors on campus in UL! Leaders like myself, mitch, garion, aidan and fearghal will be running trips down there from now on on sunny days. If you are interested in being on the contact list for these random trips either talk to one of us at the climbing wall or e-mail me your contact number and name at 0861553@studentmail.ul.ie Happy Climbing everybody!!!!

Just a quick question, how is it now OFFICIAL? I would be very carefull there during the summer. keep and eye out for nacks and scumbags drinking on the banks of the river and dont go there in anything smaller than a group of three for safety sake. People and past club members have had the odd run in whilst climbing on the castle in the past so just be carefull.
