Mid-Week Caving
Mid-Week Caving will continue on select Wednesday nights this semester. If you are interested in participating in a trip please send the following details to cavingopc@gmail.com

SRT (Single Rope Technique)Training
SRT is the technique used to enter and explore vertical cave systems. Attendance for those interested in taking part in the Easter Yorkshire Training Trip is essential. This training is for learning knots and ropework used in vertical caves along with learning the skills that go with SRT-Single Rope Technique. All gear is provided but please dress warmly as it can be cold in the boathouse.

Yorkshire Easter Training Trip
The Yorkshire Easter Trip will take place over the Easter Break from College (March 24th to April 1st 2013) and will be for one week. This is the OPC caving training trip and the Yorkshire dales is one of the best places to get qualified instructors and see some magnificient cave systems, www.yorkshire.com/what-to-do/outdoors/rocksports/caving-and-show-caves This will be our fifth year returning to the Dales.
If you are interested in going to Yorkshire or would like more information send an email to cavingopc@gmail.com with Yorkshire as the subject line.
Club Membership
In order to participate in any club or caving activities you must be a member of the club. In order to join the club you must first pre-register. This is free and can be done by using the link registercs.ul.ie/
You can create a log-in for yourself on the top left-hand side of the page. Once you have done this you will find the OPC in the clubs section. If you have already pre-registered for another club or society then just log in and look in the clubs section for the OPC. Then just pay you membership to a member of the committee and your done.
