Howaya lads, Happy Christmas and all that. We're gonna celebrate in style this year:
Christmas Weekend This weekend 20th 21st December Lisdoonvarna
This is a big tradition in the OPC. We head off for a quick weekend before we all leave for home. Theres a Christmas Dinner cooked, we'll do some activities and we'll get everyone back in Limerick on Sunday. Its a class trip and a great way to say goodbye to all your mates. There's even gonna be a bit of mistletoe flying around.
The trip costs €25 that covers food accomadation and transport as always. The deposits are gonna be taken on wednesday at 6 in the red raisins canteen. We'll be leaving Limerick at 10am on Saturday and will be getting back on Sunday. There will be caving taking place on the Sunday so anyone interested in that contact cillian@ulopc.com
If you have any qustions about this trip gimme a shout, fergal@ulopc.com
Irish Cancer Society Fundraiser Tuesday 16th december
One of our committee members, Niall is going to be doing Kilimajaro over the summer to raise money for the Irish Cancer Society. To help finance the trip he's going to be selling lines for a raffle tomorrow, Tuesday, outside the Students Union. There's a huge hamper to be won and of course its a very worthy cause. Its a great time of year to give to a good charity.
Finally.....
Thanks lads and lasses for all the craic we've had this year. I hope ye all enjoyed the club as much as ourselves. If you're one of the erasmus or study abroad that won't be with us next semester best of luck! If you joined up back in week 1 and haven't made it to the wall or on any of the trips you're more than welcome to join us for semester 2. We'll be going sport climbing at easter and to the Alps in the summer. It'd be great to see some new faces around!! The wall is open again January 5th at 7pm.
Right lads thats it for now have a great Christmas. Best of Luck for the New Year and hope the results turn out alrite for yis.
Live the Dream.
