Hey Eric.
Yup the wall is open to the public the same nights as it is for everyone else. Those are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday nights from 7-10pm.
The membership fee for people from the public is €30, so that will cover you up until the summer holidays (and possibly through them if we have the wall open).
All equipment is provided down there and there is always someone there to give some helpful hand/tips etc.
Anyway questions just post them up here.

Great stuff cheers for that.
Just a quick point to raise with whoever looks after the wall... I rang UL Arena today to inquire about opening hours etc and the girl on the phone told me that it was only open to group bookings and not for the public. That sounded a bit weird to me which is why I posted on here....
From ye're point of view (finances and getting people not attached to UL to use the facility etc) it might be no harm to get the arena staff fully clued in on the set up with the wall.
Anyhow thanks for the info.
E.

No worries. I'll make sure to say that to look into that. I know that they do book groups like scouts etc in for us and I suppose that is what they are used to, but I'll make sure they know we do accept anyone from the public to join.
Sound.

Hey Just to point out that as far as the Arena are concerned the wall is only open to OPC club members hence Eric, when you asked if it is open to the public you were greeted with that reply. So just to be pedantic the wall is open to club members only, however anyone can join the club at a cost of 30euro for non-students. The wall is for all intents and purposes free but for insurance reasons club membership is required.
Am I right on this Ginge?
