Hi guys, For those of you who want to do some running training, there is an group of people organising informal runs around limerick on Wedensdays. Keeper, Tountinna/Ballina, Clare Glens, Cratloe have all been used, and others For those of you who will be around the area during the summer, there will be a summer league on the same hills organised under IMRA banner, more on their website (http://www.imra.ie/leagues/view/id/40/year/2010) Anyway.... This Wednesday's hill run is on Tountinna near Ballina. We'll meet in the car park on the l.h.s before Gooser's pub in Ballina at 7.45pm. The run starts about 2 miles from here. To get to Ballina, take the Dublin road from Limerick and take the first exit off the roundabout after Birdhill. This will take you to Ballina. Gooser's is on the right as you come into Ballina. If you get to a roundabout, you've gone too far. For anyone who hasn't met us before, this is suitable for all abilities - run as far as you can and walk until you feel like running again. It's hard but will get you fit. Bring a head-torch. You will need it! Bring a change of clothes for the usual well earned pint/cuppa in O'Riain's afterwards. Colm (colmphelan1@gmail.com) - The run will take place regardless of the weather, - You may get wet and dirty, - You run at your own risk. ------------------------ I wont be there this wedensday as i'm packing for Portugal - a week of sand Dunes Orienteering!! You can follow me and Yoda at www.pom2010.com/en/index.php?page=3See you all when we get back! Ed
