So everyone, for those who are interested we will be running a joint Orienteering and Hiking trip this weekend.
The Orienteering will take place in Killarney National Park. We will be on hand to help out anyone who wants to give it a go, so if you want to see if you can work a compass, or just want to learn how come along with us. If you are going Orienteering you will need an old pair of runners/sneakers or a pair of boots.
Those Hikers out there will be going hiking in the MacGillacuddy Reeks and will promise some fantastic views, conversations and story telling from our one and only Paul ;-) Boots are a must.
Will be leaving from Stables Archway at 9am on Sunday and the trip will cost only €10.
Sign up outside the Climbing Wall in the PESS, on the notice board tomorrow from 7pm onwards!
HOODIES!!!!!
You will also be able to order Hoodies on this night during the interval so make sure to come along for that. When they arrived last semester there were some disappointment for those that didn’t get them. They only cost €28 and for that you will get a lovely Black hoodie with a red and green design on it, your name on the sleeve, epic logo on the back and the club logo on the front.
Ultimate souvenir for any of you on Study Abroad or Erasmus, and just a beautiful thing to wear out and about too ;-)

Carrantouhill in Drag!!!
Carrantouhill in Drag is fast approaching. March 21st is the date. This is Irelands highest mountain and you will be led by many of your friendly heroes who of course will be dressed ridiculously and will all look very attractive as we do. Those willing to get involved and maybe take a sponsorship card to try and raise a bit of money for the Irish Cancer Society should give woodsy a shout. woodsy@ulopc.com . Any bit of involvement would be greatly appreciated. Also, don't be surprised if you hear the velvety tones of Ginge Daveor myself on the radio soon or see an extract in the paper. Just a head up, its your chance to make a difference so if you can help out let us know.

Before we all do our part and climb Carrauntoohill, we will be hosting a party the Friday before hand (19th of March) (Give you all time to recover afterwards), most likely in Plassey Hall. All this has to be confirmed, but guys, book the night into your diaries, it will NOT BE ONE TO BE MISSED!
