hERRO I'm up for bring a BBQ and my gear to the burren. A trip to fair head is a really good idea the routes are really good. So if we are all up for the last weekend of june I'll go ahead and post it up on climbing.ie

Whoops sorry was in france longer than intended, meant to have more time to post around about this. So next weekend then!! Friday and Saturday nights and lotsa climbingo in the days See you all at the Ailidee campsite Friday night (I can't make it before then) N.B. This is only a casual event to meet up with other climbers, bring/organise your own gear.

Hey Jade,
President of the OPC here.
I havent heard any talk of this climbing meet in the club in a while now. I know some of they guys were in fair head last week for the climbing meet up there and went to the mournes after so I doubt they will be going up again so soon.
As well as that I just noticed that a lot of our climbing gear has been requested by other members for a club event in Kerry this weekend.
Ill mention it to woodsy though, however he is working in Dublin and currently busy with some American guests!
Looks like it was a great idea a few weeks ago when we were in College and now that everyone is spread all over the country and working, they have simply forgotten about it.
No doubt though that some of our climbers will be there (Colm for definite Id say!)

well i know of 5 others from NUIG who are definitely going and one or two who could be heading for one night... I'll bring some bits to throw on the barbie so. I won't able to be there til fri evening though cause ive to be in dublin fri afternoon... I'll find out what time others are heading down. Cheers darragh for letting me know that... pity it ended up being not-so-good a weekend after all

where is everyone camping, i suggest ceann cappal its beside the crag and free and we can make as much noise as we want. il be driving from limerick sat morning so if anyone wants a lift contact me, 085-1439807
