Hey peoples,
Just a quick question regarding the borrowing of gear over the summer. I've asked a few people now and nobody is giving me a straight answer. Obviously with the wall being knocked and stuff it's messing things up a little I'm sure, but just wondering what the deal is?
I've been told already that ye won't be giving out gear; that gear is being put in storage; that if you're taking out gear you have to take it for the whole summer; and a bunch of other unsure and conflicting responses.
Anyone care to shed some light on the subject?

Hey Mitch
First of all we have to secure a storage area for the all the gear from the wall.
Then we will do an inventory on what gear we have and what gear we need.
You will be able to get gear once everything is sorted out but it might take a bit longer than normal .
We have a big couple of weeks in trying to secure a storage area and climbing wall.
Once all this is sorted we will post information.

Hi All, the club gear has been reloacted to the student centre for the duration of the summer. gear will be available for signing out under the usual conditions all users must be club members and capable/competent of using whatever they are looking for... Please note that because the storage facility is not the PESS building access needs to be arranged in advance. Can anyone who is looking for gear request it at a minimum of two days before they wish to take it and follow the template used in previous summers. otherwise you may be left disapointed. Is Mise Le Meas Cillian Copying and pasting from opc.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=gear&action=display&thread=13141. If you intend to take out gear for a day you must give atleast two days notice on this forum. 2. People recieving gear must sign a waiver stating that should an accident happen while using said gear the club will not be held responsible 6. People using club gear must be signed up members of the Outdoor Pursuits Club If you wish to take out gear for more than 7 days at a time or if you intend to take it over seas then email your request to gear@ulopc.com When making your requests for gear could you please make them in the following format: People intending to use gear(ANYONE WHO WILL USE IT): Where you intend to use it: How long your taking it for: When you intend to return it: What you intend to take:
