Stuff you'll need to supply yourselves with:
Hat. Scarf. Cat3/Cat4 sunglasses. Decent rainproof jacket (look at the material tag inside and look for nylon) Gore tex, triple point ceramic are good weaves. A couple of jumpers, fleeces are best. Polyester's a good material as it wicks nicely. A thermal top. Again look for polyester, cotton is just going to soak in sweat. A pair of thermal pants. Same as top. Some waterproof pants, look for same stuff as jacket. Gaiters would be a good idea. A couple of pairs of hiking socks. Gloves. Fully/Semi Rigid boots. A decent rucksack, I'd say 40/50 litre is your best bet. Look for waist strap, crampon section, good fit, no zips. I don't know if you're making it compulsory, but bring a compass if you've got one. If you're bringing a compass you might as well bring a map case. Spare battery for headtorch. Probably going to have to get a couple crabs, sling, prusik cords. Survival bag, might as well get a double. Sleeping bag, should be good down to -10 degrees celcius. If you've got some camping cooking things bring em, also the club's got gas. So check that it's compatable with your stove and then don't bring that. You might have trouble with it in the plane anyhow. A whistle's a good idea. Compeeds, lots of compeeds. Also it's about time someone sorted out what people should bring for personal first aid kits. I think a sleeping bag liner's a good idea if you're gonna be spending three weeks in the same sleeping bag.
Anyway, that's all the essentials/should brings. Or at least all the ones I could think of.
