There's a path all the way to the top so I'd say you'll be in your runners. But bring boots too in case. Sure you can always leave them at the wall or in the minibus and collect them after.

I got told runners should be alright, it does get a small bit rocky towards the top though. If you want just bring runners and they should be ok, but if you want to bring boots your welcome to. (I'm probably going wearing my fully rigids coz i still have to break them in lol Yes crazy.....I know)

Hey guys, so Keeper Hill went alright tonight.
We had rain and extremely shit visibility was getting pretty nasty towards end and a bit of wind kicked in.
We didn't make it to summit sadly, as the weather was worsening and it was getting late we decided to head back. Got back in Limerick around 12:30am.
As the weather was crapping out etc we gave a go at teaching some basic night navigation/map reading techniques and how to take a bearing too :-)
Went quite well.
Thanks to all those who came.

Hey guys, just posting to let you know I won't be organising anymore club runs until we are back next semester. Reason being......exams and course work, what else lol. Anyways, if anyone is up for a run at any stage you can try and get some people together, use this thread if you would like. Thanks to all those who participated on the runs this semester And remember when your at home over the holidays keep up the training Edit: I'm deadly serious guys, smiley faces aside. Anyone who is looking to go on the expedition needs to keep themselves fit.
