keeper was used the last time to practise night Navigation and Map reading but other options such as running it could be looked at... ;D Anyways last Monday night Jerome and i went for a run before going to the wall.. Route was leaving the wall running along the river towards town. at the white bridge we turned left, continued until the overhead railway bridge, took the next left until a 4 crossroad. went straigth though this until we reached the dublin road. turned left and ran back to the sports building in UL passing the parkway and castletroy park hotel (45 mins at a good pace)... Anyone interested in running tomoro evening (5th Feb) before the wall.. (different route perhaps and an easy pace..) say leaving the Pess Building at 6.00pm.. ? You can pop me an E-mail at cillian@ulopc.comMise Le Meas Cillian

Right guys so now we are back and training is going to be kicking in full force. I wanted to get this done earlier however anyone who saw me this week will know I was through a ummmmm condition of temporary pudgyness to the face......yeh we'll call it that Over the weekend I will be doing up a schedule of runs just like last semester for the coming week and anyone who is seriously considering trying to going on the expedition now is the time to start coming out with us. Edit: Last semester was the time to start, but better late then never People will still be free to go running themselves and if you do, please let me know so I can keep track of it. This is where honesty will come into play on your side (not that I reckon there will be problems, but best to say it anyway). If you lie about going running and your fitness level then you are only messing things up for yourself. There will be fitness tests organised to ensure people are doing the necessary training. So keep an eye out here for updates. (Also, running is not the only thing that will be involved in training: I suggest people start going on as many hillwalks as they can too, more to come on all that though) Ginge

Sorry guys, bit of a delay here.
Next run will be on Tuesday. Time and location will be posted here tomorrow (most likely meeting at the PESS).
If people have preferences on time, let me know.
I will try and get a week long one up when I can.
